Recently I was on a shoot in southern California. I grew up there so it is always great to go back home. I realized just how much I miss being near the ocean. I think people that grow up next to water understand the calling to be near it. I love that I live in Colorado, but it doesn't speak to me like the ocean. I took this shot at sunrise in Newport Beach. It seemed so peaceful, so nostalgic. Love the memories from that morning.
